Heel is higher than description - These are a beautiful shoe, soft leather, super cute, and comfortable on the toe area. But they were described as a 3 1/4 heel and they are actually nearly 4" so that difference is huge and makes them a shoe I wouldn't wear enough to warrant the price and comfort needed for all day wearing. Pity, so on that basis I returned them.

Great for summer 08 season - The black is a little harsh, but the sand or brown (even the blue - looks great with dark jeans) work really well with just about anything. It’s the gladiator sandal amped up. Sand is a great neutral - that's the one I got.
