Dream shoes - First of all, I am a shoe freak to the nth degree and this is why I'm capable of convincing myself to spend this much money on a rare pair of understated (yet absolutely perfect in every way) wingtips. Having worn them for several days straight I can honestly say they are worth the money to anyone who really cares about shoes. They can be either dressy or casual, but no matter how you wear them, the unique dimensions and subtle details really shine through. The pictures on Zappos don't do justice to the rich caramel color and I'll add that mine didn't show as much irregularity as the one shown here. The materials and construction of this shoe are unparalleled and they are both comfortable and oh so stylish. I own over 20 pairs of shoes and these hard to find Belgian crafted darlings are my favorites. I initially ordered a different N.D.C. shoe, but was sent the wrong one and by the time I received it they were out of my size which sort of broke my little shoe crazed heart. I've shopped Zappos many times and never experienced this type of disappointment before, so I stand by their excellent customer service even still. In fact, they were quite willing to generously compensate me for my troubles with a lovely gift credit without me saying a word. So, in a nutshell, Zappos.com and N.D.C. Made By Hand shoes are absolutely fabulous in every way and I strongly recommend them to all the shoe lovers out there.

Seems to be very well-made with excellent-quality materials. Leather is very heavily distressed, but the creasing and bends smooth out to a nice, but very broken-in appearance once they're on. Shape is similar to other NDCs, so very elongated and slender. This shoe is fairly pointy. Fits 1/2-size big, as typical of NDC. Has a very narrow appearance, but is actually normal in width, at least across the ball/vamp area.

Classic gone modern - The shoe is exceptionally designed. The quality is obvious just by appearance. It only comes in a standard width. It seems to run about one half size big. However the shoe is quite comfortable.

This shoe appears to be very well made, with excellent quality materials. It definitely runs 1/2 size large. I wear a 9.5 and occasionally a 10 and the 9 was a perfect fit for me. Width is normal, not as narrow as many shoes in this style. The shoe is very long, extending 1.5" + past toes. The cut of the toe box and the straight taper toward the front end cause it to appear even more elongated than it is.
