The shoes are almost one size bigger, and there is no real arch support. From the heel area ahead it continued like a slope. After 30 minutes at home I feel a pressure in the back of my feet. I am a big Merrell fan, but it did not work this time. My wife purchased the female edition and is very happyGreat service from Zappos, some of the best out there.

Merrell Encore MJ
Loooove this shoe!These shoes are SO comfy. I work on my feet and I wore them to work yesterday -- absolutely lovely and they don't feel like they need any breaking-in at all. I was surprised to notice that the foot bed is actually removable -- wonder if you can wash it or get it replaced if need be? That would be excellent. I generally wear a 10, but the 10s were significantly too big, so I ended up buying a 9 instead, and it fits perfectly.

great shoes - This shoe is so comfortable and great looking, not to mention breathable. I'm not into outdoor sports but I am a nurse and this is a great shoe for those long shifts. They have caught on and lots of nurses at my hospital wear them now!! I have flat feet and the arch support is minimal, which is great for me. My only complaint is that these laces have to be retied over and over even with double knots.

Merrell Encore MJ
Unbelievably comfortable - I bought these more for the comfort than the look, thinking they might be a little too athletic-looking, but I wore them with a casual skirt and got a spontaneous compliment on the appearance. They feel wonderful: stretchy in the toes, unbelievable support in the footbed. And, of course, the look is growing on me; the vine/flower detail on the strap is just too cute. The only thing that might be a problem is the heel: it comes up a little high. I stand but don't walk all day at work, and I think if I did have to walk, I might develop a blister or callus at the bottom of my heel. Overall, I recommend them most highly!

Great shoes, great service!These are the most comfortable shoes I've worn in a long time! I received them yesterday (fast delivery!) and I haven't wanted to wear any other shoes since. I got them to wear on a trip--good support and far better looking than the usual walking shoe. I highly recommend them!

Love, love, love - I have these in black and slate. It was love at first test walk. I bought them a few years ago and where them to work every day. I'm a nurse so I'm on my feet constantly. With these shoes I can stand longer and don't feel drained at the end of the day. My back, knees and feet don't hurt after 12 hours! The tread on the bottom is good for not slipping and they stay on your feet well. I'm so happy I can get them at my favorite shoe store (Zappos.com) now!!

Merrell Kids Sprint Jr (Infant/Toddler)
Repeat Purchase for Great Kids Shoe - I've bought the Merrell Sprint Jrs for my 4 yo several times now (different sizes) and always been pleased. The outsole is flexible but supportive. The velcro is easy to open & close and holds well. I've washed in my front loader washing machine & air dried and they've come out great, without shrinking. For our casual lifestyle, these work great as everyday, play, "athletic" shoes as well as "dress up." If you want something cute, Merrell may still make these with animal figures on the leather.
