Carhartt Soft Toe Waterproof Hiker
Okay boots - These boots are as tough as any other Carhartt product. However the wear and tear for the appearance is awful. The dark brown lower only lasted one weekend of walking in the field. It turns to a light tan roughed up leather look in no time. Poor design. The boot is a heavier boot and has a hard sole inside. I won't ever buy another pair.

Good Work Boot - I've owned a pair of these boots for two years. They are still holding out well. I am going to by another pair when these wear out all the way. These boots are very comfortable and light weight. I wear them everyday to work as a Maintenance Worker. They are pretty good on the ice and snow and wet surfaces. The sole is soft and quiet as I seem to scare the crap out of a lot of people I walk up behind. I would highly recommend these boots for work and I also wear them when I ride my motorcycle. These boots look good and polish up nicely. Zappos is the BEST!!!

I would recommend this boot to any who has to stay on their feet all day. The boot seems to be a little bit wider than it is marked, but it is still comfortable and is a good rugged boot and well worth my purchase. I work for CSX R.R. and I am on balst and cross ties all day!

Carhartt Lace-To-Toe
OUCH!First of all I will say that I have purchased many shoes through Zappos and I love this site. Now on to the review...this is the most uncomfortable boot I have ever worn. I own a construction business and am on my feet all day so comfort is key. I have had shoes that were less expensive and some that were more expensive, but never had I had a pair of boots that tortured my feet like this pair. I am a huge fan of Carhartt work clothes, but cannot believe how far they missed the mark on a pair of boots. If you value comfort do not buy these boots. I wish Zappos would take them back, but I made the mistake of wearing them to work once. I will never wear them again!!!

Carhartt 8" Direct Attach Boot - I received this boot and when I tried them on they were a perfect fit!! Needed no break in time. I needed the support for my leg as I had recently broken my ankle and these boots could not have fit better if the doctor had prescribed them!! Am extremely happy with the boot and the service that I ALWAYS receive from Zappos. Thanks ZAPPOS!! You're the BEST

Carhartt Lace-To-Toe
Excellent!I have owned and worn these boots for approximately one year. They are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. They required no "break-in" period and have given me excellent all-weather service on my farm.

Very nice right out of the box - I bought these boots for motorcycling and have been very happy so far. Excellent fit and finish. Not as stiff as some other work boots, so these will require less break-in to be comfortable. I will buy another pair of these when they wear out.

Motorcycling Boots?I purchased these boots specifically for street riding in mild to warm weather. I consider my feet to be a true 9D.These boots are a definite 1/2 size larger than marked, requiring me to wear heavy hunting sox for a good fit. Width is right on.I would consider these boots to be the minimum safety wise for riding. The soles do have excellent grip & slip resistance on the tarmac & the shoe is very comfortable for walking, too. Looks good with jeans on & off the bike & can be waterproofed with Sno-seal. Overall, a thumbs up for an economy boot.

Good boot for heel trouble - Nice light weight boot, works good on the old heel. Like them better than my Danner's.
