Shoe Review - The shoe is wonderful. I have much better traction in the pool and I have not gotten a cramp since I started wearing them. The only negative thing I have to say is that they ran a little big. I did not send them back because they tighten enough to be okay. It would have been better if they ran a little truer to size.

Awesome boots- best I’ve ever owned- These boots are great; they are completely waterproof right out of the box and are lace up super fast. I love the lace pocket and grip sole. These boots provide the perfect amount of warmth nearly all the time. The only exception was when I was camping in 10-20 degree weather with 50 mph winds and sitting still inside my tent. As long as you are moving around these boots are very warm and comfortable. Highly recommended.

A great winter boot -I wore these boots right out of the box for a day hike high in the NH White Mts. The upper third of the trail covered in snow. My feet felt like they were bubble wrapped. Despite the new shoes there was no blistering or soreness at all! There was great lateral support but good fore and aft movement. The traction was excellent. I had no bruising of the leg which I have had with stiff uppers from other boots. At the end of the hike my feet were a bit sweaty, but none of the slop from melting snow had penetrated. The service from Zappos was excellent.

Adjustable comfort and cute too! After breaking my ankle, my foot was at least a size or three larger than normal. Once i was out of my cast, however, i needed to find a shoe that fit my gargantuan foot along with the added bulk of an air cast. My doc saidby Anonymous from Anchorage, Alaska

Great Dog Walking Shoes -Great comfortable slip on shoes. I slip into a comfortable supportive and waterproof shoe every time I walk the dog. Solomon's run about 1/2 sise smaller then most other shoes but are durable and great for all weather.

I bought the green/black ones for my husband. He wore them to the Santa Claus Parade where we were standing outside for over an hour. His feet stayed warm and dry, he said they were very comfortable. He received lots of compliments on them when he wore them to work. They're very easy to slip on and off with the toggle lacing system. We'll see how they hold up in our -35C temps this winter.

Salomon Expert Low GTX -Great shoe! I bought it to stomp around New Hampshire in January, and it fit the bill. It's waterproof and pretty warm (I usually had to wear only one pair of winter socks--no plastic bags, liners or anything else--even when it went below the 10s). The fit is fairly true to size, though I have feet on the narrow side. They're also lighter weight than most hiking boots I've seen, though they do weigh a little more than the average sneaker. These are not sneaker-hikers, but are actual hiking boots. Accordingly, the tongue/harder upper took a day or two to break in, but was otherwise fine. They're also a bit more sophisticated looking than the typical hiking boot; I can wear them with my sevens and a cashmere turtleneck and still look pretty good.

Wheee!I run 30-50 miles a week, and got these for muddy, cold-weather trail runs; I'm very happy. The shoe is extremely stable and comfortable, with a very "grippy" sole (great for rocks). My only complaint is that it's a bit on the heavy side, and tends to get hot (definitely not a warm weather shoe), but as trail runners go, these are fantastic. Arch support is probably fine for most, but I have very high arches & wear an orthotic insert. The white color is a lot more gleaming than it appears in the photo.
