Chunky, but cute and comfy - These shoes are a little chunky looking, but will be the perfect shoes to wear while doing a ton of walking on city vacation visits. I had a pair of Rieker Mary Janes that I wore out traipsing through the cities of Europe over the course of several vacations. They held up great and looked good enough with a skirt or pants for dinner. I've only worn them once, so they still need to break in a little...then they'll likely go up to a 5 for comfort!

Rieker continues to rule -I bought several pairs of this brand over the summer, and found them comfortable and stylish, so I gave the winter line a try. I needed one size larger than I used in summer because the arch comes up higher, but I anticipated this and ordered two sizes to be sure. I love how they look and how they feel.

Pure comfort- Bought these in black in September... I have very, very flat feet. Most shoes are miserable. These are pure comfort. Wish you had them in red. They come in red, but the store didn't have my size.

I had mixed feelings about this boot; overall, it was very comfortable, and really felt like a slipper when I put it on. The heel is nice, and because the sole looks like it's made of some kind of plastic, it was also very light. However, this boot was very narrow (don't order if you have wider feet!), and the toe looked way pointier than in the picture. The leather was also kind of shiny, and not more "rugged", as it appeared in the pix. so, I'm sending this one back, b/c I don't think it's worth the price, and b/c I just can't stand the pointy toes.

No regrets -I spend many of my winters days inside cold hockey rinks with my son. I needed a boot to keep my toes warm. I bought these because they were the only leather ankle boots I could find that were fleece lined with a nice comfortable sole and are waterproof. I have wore them in the wet slush and the water just rolls off of these boots. They are very comfortable with plenty of toe room. I ordered a whole size bigger than my normal shoe size to accommodate bulky socks. They fit with a medium sock and still have room for a heavy sock. They are worth every penny. Zappos is the only place I was able to find these boots.

Fun shoe- I have admired these shoes for years but resisted trying them since they look narrow. But they seem pretty comfy right off the bat, and the woven leather accommodates my wide foot (although I'm hoping it does chew it up on further wear). They are strange-looking, but cute. I'm hoping they make a good "winter" shoe to wear with jeans in the mild climate where I live.

Love these shoes and somehow in a size 11 it dosen't look huge. I think they are bigger/wider in toe box than expected but great with thick socks. Not a lot of support but roomy enough for an additional insert.
