A Great Running Shoe -I just bought these since I read such great reviews about the shoe. I never heard of them, but with some research everyone was giving praise over the shoe. I love them, I was able to get back to running today from an injury and they are great. They look good and feel great what wearing them-they are very light.

Pearl Izumi Vortex MBT 5009- Very good shoes. The only problem is the inner metal plate is too weak. When I tried to tighten the screws, the threading surrounding the hole simply broke under the pressure of the cleat screw.

Pearl Izumi Take Plus
Pearl Izumi great shoe - I have not worn the shoes that much yet but tried it on a couple of times and found it to be comfortable and roomy especially in the toe area. In addition, a great walking platfrom bottom and yet to be tested jogging.

Pearl Izumi Push Plus
I first purchase this shoe over a year ago while vacationing in Jacksonhole, WY at a sporting goods store. Although I am not a runner I do enjoy walking daily & would be lost without a pair of these shoes. I have recommended them to many persons after receiving compliments on the look of the shoe. I have been searching the Web for another pair & finally found my size. I can't wait to receive them.

Great shoe right out of the box. Bought them at the Boston marathon expo and then broke the rule and wore them the next day in Hopkinton because they felt so good. Excellent comfort. No blisters or hot spots. This definetly is not a stability shoe. Sort of like a cushiony racer. Just bought my second pair. I have owned many different shoes by many different vendors. Pearls are the best, no doubt. You need to try them.

Pearl Izumi Syncro Guide
Well, I was looking for a good, solid, comfortable, shoe, so I decide I would spend a little extra money. This shoe is not worth the money. They started squeaking after a week. They fit awkward on my feet (could just be mine) which seem to give my legs less endurance. The bottoms are very slippery if they are a little wet and have very little traction.

Awesome shoe - This is the most comfortable, most cushiony and most supportive shoe I have ever worn! I am a marathon runner and I have tried almost every shoe out there. I first heard about this shoe from Canadian athlete Ferg Hawke who wore this shoe in his unbelievable race in Badwater, California. To be able to run 130 miles like he did in the heat of Death Valley in summer you must need a good shoe so I thought I better try them. I was only going to test them on a short run but they felt so good I ended up going 13 miles. These are unbelievable shoes and they actually look great!! My running partner was very envious of my new shoes that she too is going to order a pair so she can keep up to me.

Heavy Runner- I have been a devoted road runner for over 10 years and weigh approx. 300lbs. Finding the proper shoes is always an issue. Any shoe that feels good lasts less than 100 miles, any shoe that lasts over 300 miles (designed for a "heavy runner") is so stiff and hard they create pain in my feet, knees, and back, which takes all the joy out of the activity. I have about 150 miles on these shoes in the past 2 or 3 months. While they show significant wear, I expect them to last another 100+ miles. My feet, knees, and other joints still feel as good as the first day I ran in my floats. I would highly recommend these shoes for anyone in a situation similar to mine. Best running shoe I've ever had! Buy them from Zappos. They are hard to find and unlike other retailers you know Zappos will work to ensure your satisfaction.
