Volleyball shoe - I have ordered my daughters tap shoes for dance twice from Zappos and have been very pleased with the prompt service and the quality we have received. I have encouraged my friends to use Zappos when ordering their shoes. Recently I ordered a pair of volleyball shoes for my daughter. She wanted a certain pair and we couldn't find the color or brand she wanted in our sports stores. We easily found it on Zappos. We ordered them and received them within a few days. We are extremely pleased with Zappos and will continue to use them whenever we need sports or dance shoes!

Mizuno Wave Spike 8
I'm using this shoe for fencing, not volleyball. What works: lightweight, low to the ground, good traction and stability. Far more stable than most fencing shoes. Makes me want to move a lot! Have to use a heel cup, but that's no surprise. Shoes aren't cushy, but replacement insoles helped plenty.What doesn't work: ripped apart the sole on the edge of the back foot within two weeks. Shoe good it, and it's holding up, but I don't know for how long. Next time I might try the Lightning shoe where the gum rubber overlaps the edge of the sole rather than the soft grey stuff.

Mizuno Wave Tornado
Mizuno keeps coming up with great products!Two years ago, I bought my first Mizuno volleyball shoes, Wave Stratosphere 2, and W-Strat 4 last year and Wave Tornado in September of this year. Wave Tornado has not only been giving me all of what previous ones gave me, but also more agility and flexibility without added weight. Wave Tornado fits me perfectly in every way I expected. I especially like the arch support it gives me. Wave Tornado is the best volleyball shoes I have ever purchased!

Mizuno Wave Spike 7
Lightweight but not durable - To make this short and sweet, I got this shoe in January and I got holes in it in April or so. I have high arches and that wasn't good. The red looks orange. The mesh looks bad and tears easily to me. It looks nice when it comes out of the box though! I have yet to find a good shoe that I like.

Good for big feet- I wear a size 14 and my foot is pretty narrow so my foot slid around in them. To fix this problem I bought some gel insoles a lace them up tight. Half way through the season and they feel great.

Mizuno Wave Tornado
Never broke in - This is the first pair of shoes that just didnt fit well.I returned the first pair because they were the wrong size, and then the second pair didnt fit well either. The opening for your ankle is too big and the footbed is too small (maybe my foot is weird but it fits in every other pair of shoes) and they are so stiff they never broke in after 6 volleyball practices. Terrible

Mizuno 9-Spike™ Franchise Low G3
Misuno's 9-spike - I've purchased two pairs of Mizuno shoes and haven't been able to wear either one comfortably. Not sure what it is about them. Their sizing runs a little smaller than most similar shoes, but for some reason one shoe is more uncomfortable than the other.

Mizuno Wave Tornado
A great volleyball shoe, worth the extra money - After playing 4 years in college, I just had to buy my first shoe in over 5 years. I figured I'd go back to my roots (my first pair of real volleyball shoes were Mizuno). There are two innovations in particular that stand out are the protected toe (with grip) and the vents in the sole which effectively keeps my feet cool and airs them out after playing. I give the shoe only 4 stars in comfort because the insole is far too flimsy for anyone playing serious volleyball at a high level. All said, though, the shoe far exceeded my expectations.
