Very Surprised -Fits great and is true to size. Light weight and soft leather. Was surprise the it fits and wears just as good as my $147.00 pair of Justins that I am use to wearing. If the sole holds up as long as the Justin I'm hooked!

Pleasantly surprised -These are a pleasant surprise. I just received them from UPS (Hurricane Katrina slowed down delivery) and had to open the box.They're well built from thick leather that's as soft as butter. The insoles have a decent arch support, and the sole is nice and spongy/bouncy which should make them quite comfortable. The length is just barely shorter than a size 10 Justin...nothing to worry about for most people. I think I'll enjoy these boots...they should prove very comfortable.Since I only just got them this part is speculative. I don't think break-in will be a problem...they fit quite well. Soft, supportive, attractive, and cheap. That's a good combination!

not too shabby - They are very comfortable as soon as you put them on. I like the hooks on the top of the laces. It makes them come off real easy and fast after being on my feet all day. They look cool too and the inserts come out which is convenient. It seems like a good quality shoe and the price is right. I may even get a pair of Max Boots for the winter.

I work as a route truck driver. I walk alot and wear out a pair of boots every 6 months!!! These boots are very light and comfortable. NICE FIRST TIME EXPERIENCE WITH MAX SAFETY- I'm very tough on a boot. I like to buy a new pair once a year for work. These are excellent boots, durable, supportive, comfortable and not so typical looking. Very short break-in period. Easy to put on. 5 days a week, 8 hours a day on my feet, so far these babies are doing the trick.I'm a 10 1/2 in all footwear, I don't have to go to a shoe store! I've got Zappos amazing sales, service, quality and selection. So easy. Awesome price and the next thing I know, they're at my door- with free shipping. As usual, Zappos comes through. It's a sure thing!

Great Boots And Low Price - One word WOW! These are one on the best pairs of boots I have ever owned. I work in the oil field so they take a beating day afer day and have held up great.
