Outstanding...These are the first pair of hiking boots I have ever owned by La Sportiva. Uncomfortable at first, they took a little time to break in (about 5 days or so). With that being said, these boots, by far, are the most comfortable hiking boots I have ever owned. I wear them, generally, for approx. 5 to 6 hours a day and my feet do not tire from them being worn this often (something I have experienced in the past w/ most boots) The size and width are right on and the ankle support in these babies are outstanding. If you are looking for a good boot for everyday wear, look no further. Highly recommended.

La Sportiva Venture XCR Women's
Dorky looking but comfortable -I have a short, wide foot (6.5 EE) and these shoes fit wonderfully (I removed the insoles and replaced with my orthotics). They are indeed waterproof (as opposed to the multiple New Balance and Dunham shoes I had to send back this summer due to leaking!). I walk daily through the backwoods and need a shoe that has traction, is waterproof, and doesn't hurt my short, fat feet- these are THE shoes!!!! I've just ordered a bunch more to see if I can find a winter hiking boot. I order frequently from Zappos due to their liberal return policy and extended size shoes; alto most don't fit, there are a few winners and Zappos has my loyalty.

A solid shoe from La Sportiva- This is my 7th pair of La Sportiva shoes and as far as the trail runners go, this is the best pair yet. I've had concerns about the durability of La Sportiva trail runners and almost didn't buy this pair (my others- Coloradoby Pete from Santa Cruz, CA

La Sportiva Superdrago
So far so good, a little tight- These are an excellent approach shoe, that offer good climbing performance on moderate rock climbs. I found that they handled a 5.10 fingers crack with smears for feet just fine.

La Sportiva Crag
This is the best sandal I have ever owned. I have purchased it in 3 different colors and wear nothing else in the summer (and sometimes winter). It is not only a great approach sandal but helps with foot and knee pain also. It has the best arch support of any shoe I have ever owned.

La Sportiva Trango Trek
Trango Trek - The boot has a lot off support and some degree of comfort .The problem is the small size. I ordered a mens 15 and the box said 13 and a half. When I measured my foot for a sizing chart on the net, it turned out to be 13 and a half . La Sportiva was right in a way . Most boots I try on are at least a 15. The boot "last" size differs a lot . I haveused them on about a half a dozen hikes and while small, they are really very good .

Shoe comfort and performance tough like a boot- I was most impressed with the hold this shoe has on the heel. It won’t let it lift for anything, giving a very stable predictable feel. Along with lace-to-toe adjustability, the strong last and out-sole performs well on late fall hiking, biking and work in Alaska's Coastal Mountains. Also surprisingly warm I would recommend this shoe to any person seeking a performance based hiking or work boot. I'm an Alpine Mountain Guide in Alaska and this is a great do it all shoe for everything less than vertical or high altitude. It’s light, comfy, sensitive and tough as nails.

Looks and Size - They look way better in person. If you like Asics, do not bother with these. The toe box width will be way to narrow. The heel cup is great. Impressive shoe, just hope they come out with larger size than the Euro 47.5.

La Sportiva Trango S
Trango S- I have purchased two pair. Very nice fit. Very comfortable. No break-in period. Cooler than any gortex boot. Lightest hiking boot I ever had. Nice on long walks, hiking, backpacking. Very good on varied terrain, boulders, and approaches. Never had a blister. Had one pair re-soled- no problem. However, on one pair the inner lining wore through. The second pair is still fine though. They will get wet- easily. I never have had a boot over size 44- these I had to return at first to obtain size 44.5. I hike ALOT- these boots are fine.
