great low hiker -This hiking shoe fit great right out of the box. I have a wide foot with high instep and had no problems. Fit was true to size, and the lace-to-toe design allows for excellent support with a snug and secure but not binding feel. After the first wearing, I went back on-line to see if there was a "high-top" model, but couldn't find one. I'd get a pair immediately if one comes out.Love this light hiker.

Winter Boots- I ordered these boots in the pink. They look great. I ordered a 1/2 size larger so I could double up on socks, now they are too big. But I'm keeping them anyway.

Ski boot?I should have heeded the advice I read from another reviewer. This is a stiff, hard and uncomfortable boot. Strangely, the back angles toward the front, just like a ski boot. So, you either need to walk or stand with a slightly bent knee, or lean forward. This boot is NOT suited for day hiking or urban winter walking. I'm not sure what it is designed for, but thankfully Zappos has a wonderful, no-questions-asked return policy. So, maybe someone who does understand this boot can give it a proper home.

Great Boots!!I bought three pairs of these boots for myself and my two daughters. These boots are very comfortable and warm!! I have a problem with very cold feet in the winter, these solve it! Highly recommended! Zappo's, you guys are the heat at customer service. I'll never buy shoes anywhere else!!

Not waterproof - I normally wear a 9 so I ordered a 9 ½ so I could wear it with heavy socks, but shoes turned out too small for heavy socks. About ½ size smaller than marked. Shoes weigh 3lbs 5oz for the pair, thus weight is good. Has heavy sole with little flexibility, may not be good for hiking. Traction is better than picture indicates. Shoes are NOT waterproof. I put both shoes in standing water to about 1” above where the tongue begins. Within 15 minutes one shoe was damp the other had enough water that it was visible in the bottom. Water leaked at seams and trough tongue on the badly leaking one. I’m rather disappointed.

I love these shoes! They are very comfortable and pretty :D I ordered a half size smaller (I wear a 10 and I ordered a 9 1/2) and they fit perfectly.

Kamik's Glamor boot -I like the looks and the idea of a zipper in back. I ordered 8M and it fit well. However I had a lot of trouble pulling the zipper up. It seemed too small or something. I may wear it around the house for a little bit and see how things go. It is well built but it would be more comfortable with fleece and I wonder the durability of the inner lining.

Ummm, what?Okay, how do I put this... these shoes are loud. Not loud in the "Omi god, look at those boots!" sense, but in the "these boots make a lot of noise" sense. Yes, they have a removable foam liner, but said liner is covered in a boot-shaped plastic bag that rattles whenever you move. Seriously, wave some plastic grocery bags in the air and you'll get a quieter idea of what these boots sound like when you walk. I thought the plastic might be removable, but it's stitched onto the liner. Also, if you wear the boots without the foam liner, you'll be walking around on the bare rubber moon boot sole (in a word, owe.) It's too bad, because these boots are really cute and fit well, even around a larger calf. Sigh, still looking...

Alaska bound - Awesome Boot! This boot is comfortable, water resistant and great looking. Took it on a trip to Alaska and it was perfect during the August rains and glacier hiking. Ordered half size larger and it fit great! Highly recommended for outdoor wear and price.
