First, as usual, ZAPPOS RULES!!!! I was excited about the shoe given all of the rave reviews that I read. It is soft, and it is ready to wear right out of the box, but the 8 1/2 that was suggested was too big for my size 8 foot. It is loose in the back and the back of the shoe rubs my heel as it slips up and down. Also, the width makes the shoe feel sloppy when I walk. Lastly, for those ladies that are concerned with the look of length in a shoe, this shoe will make your foot look two sizes larger. It is the first shoe that ever made my foot look like I was wearing a size 9/10.

Josef Seibel's Taylor - I love these shoes! I received them right before a trip to NYC - took them with me and walked all afternoon in them, they were more comfortable than my athletic shoes! I was impressed that I could walk around all afternoon in shoes I was wearing for the first time. Obviously, they require no "break-in time". They seem true to size/fit and I love the way they lace up, you don't have to tie them because of the nifty little closure thing. Great shoe, worth the $$$.

My new favorite weekend shoe!These shoes felt immediately comfortable. I did not have the heel problem mentioned by other reviewers. I love these shoes so much that I have now purchased them in black as well as brown. They are the perfect shoes to wear with jeans. My adult daughter was surprised that I actually had "cool shoes."

Comfy but order bigger than your size - I usually wear a 10. I ordered the 41 (10 - 10.5) and it just fits. I could probably go up to the 42.

Beautiful, comfortable sandal -I have a wide foot with a high instep, so finding comfortable shoes that don't look like grandma's orthopedic footwear practically elude me. These are wonderful, and they are extremely attractive in a very simple, subtle way. I normally wear 9.5 W or WW, but usually a good 10 M works in it's place. The 41 M was perfect.

Ultra comfortable shoe- This shoe is extremely comfortable. Absolutely no break in time needed. I am a between a 9 and a 9.5. I ordered the 9/9.5 and they fit like a glove with thin socks. Unfortunately, I like to wear regular tennis socks, so I had to return them for the 10/10.5's and although they are perfect in size, now they look like boats. Oh well, all the more to stand on, my dear...

Josef Seibel Maxime- Nice shoes if you have a VERY wide foot and high instep. I first ordered these in a size 9/40 which is what I wear in most Josef Seibel shoes, but they were way too huge! I then ordered the 8/39. The length is good, but still the shoes are awfully wide on my feet, even with heavier socks! Also, I should mention I do have a wide width foot and high instep! They just barely stay on my foot, and with time they are only going to get looser. I am afraid I will be sending these back.
