These shoes are great!Any Dr. Martens I've ordered from Zappos have been exactly perfect! Whether they have been for myself or someone else, I've never had an issue with fit.

Cuter in person!When I put them on, my feet say "aahhh", and when I look down and see the cute floral cut-out pattern I smile. The fit is true (a tad roomy), the same size I usually wear in Doc's, but the foot bed is nicer to my feet than my 10 year old standard boots. Great fit, feel and look; compliments every time I wear them. Much more feminine looking than in the picture.

Doc Martens- Even though these shoes are touted as being light weight they feel quite heavy. I have diabetes and am concerned about the care and wear and tear on my feet. Although I bought these shoes, I doubt that I will ever wear them.

Undeniable Problem- The pros are the cool looks, the excellent support, the great foot bed, the pleasant feel of the lining, and the long wearability of these solidly made shoes. The Con is the upper leather is hard and stiff, and the cut out patterns cut into the skin on top of the foot. I will take them to the shoe repair and have them stretched to remedy that. I don't know if it will be successful, but am willing to take the gamble because if that one thing can be corrected these will be my new every day shoes, able to take the beating I'll dish out to them. My normal size is 7W and these are just a tad tight which will be remedied when the upper is stretched. I suspect anybody getting this shoe will experience the discomfort on the upper; it's not a sizing issue.

Dr. Martens 1461 Series
Good-looking shoe, horrible for heels!This is a very nice-looking shoe and is comfortable from the mid-shoe to the toe. However, the heel rubs against the back of the shoe, and there is no padding to buffer that. I wore the shoe for just a few hours, and my heels hurt so badly, that I had to go home. I buy Doc Martens because they're so comfortable, but I just can't wear these.

Amanda's Shoes -These are the BEST school shoes a child could own. They last for a complete year if you are lucky enough to have your child's feet stay the same size!!!

Great Boots- I love these boots...wear them on almost a daily basis. Very comfortable... very trendy... very in-style. I have gotten lots of positive compliments on them!!! They were a size too big however... I sent the first pair back and within 2 days received the smaller size. Great customer service and will shop here again!!!
