ULTRA COOL AND COMFY TOO!These shoes are great! They are very trendy and very comfortable. They felt true to size. Unlike alot of shoes, I did not have to "break them in". I wear them all the time. I wish they came in more colors.

Great looking shoes -I ordered 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear based on other reviews. They feel great with socks, but they are still kind of loose without socks. Since they don't have laces (just easily stretched elastic under the tongue) there is no way to tighten them, so order at least 1/2 size smaller.

A little extra bit of effort -Now that converse has sold out and is made in china it is hard to find a pair that are made with care. The John Varvatos edition puts the extra effort into making a shoe that is as nice as the made in the USA converse I wore when I was a kid.

Highest cool factor in the Chuck Taylor line!My two sons and I are Chuck Taylor fans, and I recently bought this pair for one of them. Yes, this is a silly amount of money to spend on shoes for a 12-year-old-- but we consider these heirloom-worthy and have plenty of siblings and cousins who will love them as my son does now! Along with everything we love about all our Chucks, the subtle design and message of these make a knock-out shoe! RE: comfort - like with all first-time hi-tops, it took my son some time to adjust to the stiffness around the ankle-- but he's worked them in just fine! Finally WE ARE A ZAPPOS FAMILY! Best Internet shopping experience all around, consistently! Thanks.

Love my Chucks - I am a huge fan of both Chucks and Zappos. These kicks are like Chucks, only better. They look even better "in the flesh" than they do in the pictures. I have low arches, so the arch support is perfect for me.

Great slip on sneaker -Great casual style. Easy on and off. More comfy footbed and arch than on regular "chucks" but still is a lightweight on the insole support, but thats only a problem if you are walking +miles on pavement. Fit is a size big - go down a size - I wear 12's and ll.0 fits perfect. For some reason a slip on works better than lace up in this style - highly recommended!
