Great compliments, not for working on your feet - I adore the look of these shoes and so does everyone else I work with, but they just can't last comfortwise thru 8-12 hour shifts of nursing. Great for running errands, though.

Most comfortable sandal I've owned. Better than the comfortable Rockports I have. I have severe plantar fascitis and I am able to use my custom orthotics with this sandal. The heal "cups" upward in the back and holds the orthotic in place.

This is it!Great comfortable shoe that looks good and is good for walking. I did put an extra pad in it for more comfort and I bought it 1/2 size larger than normal to accommodate thick socks and an extra foot bed

This is my fourth pair of Mephisto's and I was very excited when I saw the styling. While they're shoes are the most comfortable I've ever owned their styling usually leaves a little to be desired. The Record looked great and I was excited about having a pair of Mephisto's that I could wear with shorts. After wearing them for a while and then switching back & forth with my Abel's (the most comfortable shoe I own), it's clear that these are no better then most sneakers out there. After wearing them for the day, my knees and legs hurt and, after wearing them for extended periods, my back even hurts. I haven't given up on Allrounders yet, but these were certainly disappointing

Allrounder By Mephisto- I love this shoe. The most comfortable shoe I have ever worn from day one. I like being able to adjust the heel as this is where I have most problems with shoes fitting correctly. Great support. Now I have a great looking pair of shoes to wear while showing my dogs! Can't wait to be able to get another pair in a different color.

Almost perfect - I love almost everything Mephisto makes, especially the new Lucky World styles. I think they're the only shoes you can walk in for more than 3 hours on city pavement with no problem. Unfortunately, this design does have a glitch, the 'active suspension system' starts to feel like a golf ball under your heel after a while. It's too hard and transmits the shock of your heel hitting the pavement up to your knees. These are great shoes for everything else, but if you're out on the sidewalk for long they feel like more like regular shoes. I still love mine, I just wear them inside now.

Functional with charming whimsy- I walk to work and walk home again- a five-mile round trip- and am a longstanding Mephisto fan. I am always interested in shoes that can cover the miles, are comfortable and supportive to wear, and that don't look any more unfashionable than they have to look. The Niros are comfortable and very functional "light hiking" shoes- they take five miles a day easily. Their appearance is delightfully whimsical- "they rock," as one of my young women acquaintances said. Just two drawbacks: I don't think they will wear for a long time, and the support could be a little firmer. But that won't keep me from acquiring my third pair soon! The new fall colors are much more attractive to a woman in her prime than were the neon summer versions.
